BUILDING BARRETO

Barreto Manufacturing offers a diverse range of career opportunities spanning several key departments. Engineering roles focus on product development and prototyping, while manufacturing positions encompass machining, welding, assembly, painting, and crating. Logistical operations include shipping, inventory control, and purchasing. Sales and marketing professionals drive equipment sales through various campaigns and trade shows. The accounting department handles receivables and payables, and customer service provides parts ordering and technical support. This variety of roles contributes to the company's manufacturing and distribution processes.


WHAT WE DO

Engineering-01

ENGINEERING

Barreto Engineers design and develop new products, improve and modify current products, assemble or oversee assembly of prototype machines, and train assembly personnel.

 


MACHINISTS

Barreto Machinists and CNC Operators produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine. In addition, they maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and maintain equipment and supplies.

WELDERS

Welders fabricate and assemble components of Barreto equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. In addition, Barreto welders read work orders/prints, report production, stack and wrap finished product on pallets to be transferred to other departments, and cycle count parts when weldments are complete.


SALES & MARKETING

The sales and marketing departments at Barreto Manufacturing work together to promote equipment sales through marketing and advertising campaigns, managing outside sales representatives, and attending trade shows nationwide while growing our brand using the latest marketing technology and outreach.

ASSEMBLY

Barreto Assemblers are responsible for pre-assembly and assembly of all Barreto products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of the production line. In addition, they maintain a clean & safe work environment, monitor inventory, and assemble hydraulic components.


ACCOUNTING

In the Barreto accounting department, the receivables positions handle billing customers, receiving payments, and managing multi-state sales tax maintenance and reporting. Receivables and tax support work closely with the sales and customer service teams. The payables side works with our purchasing department to ensure accuracy in invoice processing and provide our vendors with prompt payment.

INVENTORY

Inventory encompasses both inventory control and purchasing. Barreto purchasing agents are responsible for planning, ordering, and receiving inventory components, developing relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, volume, delivery times, and researching and developing accounts with new vendors. Inventory control staff works primarily with purchasing, shop floor, and engineering. They are responsible for keeping inventory numbers accurate, provide work orders to the shop floor, and report finished parts and equipment.

PARTS & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

The parts and technical support department focuses on taking customer parts orders and providing technical assistance. They accurately record customer orders and ensure clear communication regarding part availability and related information. Additionally, they offer comprehensive technical support, helping customers diagnose and resolve product issues and providing guidance on product usage. This department serves as a key point of contact, ensuring customer needs are met with both order accuracy and technical expertise.

POWDERCOATING

The Powdercoat Shop at Barreto Manufacturing plays a key role in preparing equipment for final assembly and shipment. Team members are responsible for loading parts onto paint racks for coating, unloading and inspecting painted parts, and palletizing them for storage or delivery. The work requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

CRATE SHOP

The Crating Department at Barreto Manufacturing is responsible for preparing equipment for safe shipment by assembling trailers, building custom wooden crates, and crating finished products. The team also assembles boom and chain components for trenchers and uses a variety of tools and equipment to ensure products are secure and shipment-ready. This hands-on department values craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

SHIPPING

The UPS Shipping Department at Barreto Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring that parts orders are accurately pulled, securely packaged, and properly labeled for shipment. Team members play a critical role in processing orders efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and verifying details to prevent errors. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety guidelines are essential in this fast-paced environment.
